Rocket Round Leicester events COVID secure

We’ve worked hard to make sure all of our events are COVID-secure in line with official guidance and best practice health and safety measures, meaning that you can book in confidence.

Twilight Walk

Please note that practices may change in line with guidelines but currently for our Twilight Walk, this means:

  • We have pushed the event date back from April to 14th August 2021 in line with government guidelines.

  • Places for city walkers are limited to a maximum of 1,800 people to keep crowds to a minimum.

  • We will be operating staggered starts over the course of a few hours to maintain social distancing 300 people every half hour from 5pm-8pm.

  • We are asking participants to walk in bubbles of no more than six people and to socially distance if they are not members of the same household.

  • Face masks are required to be worn whilst waiting to start the event. They may be removed once you are safely walking in your groups of six.

  • We are recommending that participants arrive no more than 30 minutes before their start slot, and do not hang around once completing the event.

  • We will be focussing all of our usual amazing entertainment around the route itself rather than at the start/finish line to prevent crowds from building and so it can be enjoyed safely from a distance.

  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available at the start and finish line.

  • If you are unwell, are showing symptoms, have tested positive recently for COVID-19 (or been in contact with anyone that has) we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.

  • Should you be unable to attend due to COVID-19 isolation or regional restrictions, you are welcome to request a refund of your entry fee, or we would love for you to consider donating it to LOROS Hospice.

Outdoor Cinema

Please note that practices may change in line with guidelines but currently for our Outdoor Cinema, this means:

  • Groups (up to a maximum of 6) book together and will be seated in their group in an allocated space, 2m away from other groups.

  • Spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-seated basis and your group will be escorted to their space by a member of the LOROS team.

  • Advance booking only with contactless tickets

  • To ensure social distancing, there is a maximum number of 300 people per showing.

  • Tickets must be booked in advance only for test and trace purposes. Details will be taken when booking.

  • Face masks are required, unless you are exempt. Face masks can be removed when you are sat in your allocated space only.

  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available at multiple points during the event.

  • If you are unwell, are showing symptoms, have tested positive recently for COVID-19 (or been in contact with anyone that has) we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.

  • Should you be unable to attend due to COVID-19 isolation or regional restrictions, you are welcome to request a refund of your entry fee, or we would love for you to consider donating it to LOROS Hospice.

Bungee

Please note that practices may change in line with guidelines but currently for our Bungee, this means:

  • An outdoor event for ventilation.

  • We have limited the number of participants to a maximum of 70.

  • Advance booking only with contactless tickets. Test and trace details will be taken at the time of booking.

  • Each participation will jump one at a time.

  • Social distancing will be in place for both participants and spectators.

  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available at multiple points during the event.

  • Equipment will be sanitised following each jump.

  • Bungee and event crew will wear masks at all times.

  • If you are unwell, are showing symptoms, have tested positive recently for COVID-19 (or been in contact with anyone that has) we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.

  • Should you be unable to attend due to COVID-19 isolation or regional restrictions, you are welcome to request a refund of your entry fee, or we would love for you to consider donating it to LOROS Hospice.

Firewalk

Please note that practices may change in line with guidelines but currently for our Firewalk, this means:

  • An outdoor event for ventilation.

  • We have limited the number of participants to a maximum of 100.

  • Advance booking only with contactless tickets. Test and trace details will be taken at the time of booking.

  • Participants will complete the Firewalk in 30 minute intervals, in limited groups. You will be able to select your time slot when booking.

  • Social distancing will be in place for both participants and spectators.

  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available at multiple points during the event.

  • Face masks are required, unless you are exempt.

  • If you are unwell, are showing symptoms, have tested positive recently for COVID-19 (or been in contact with anyone that has) we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.

  • Should you be unable to attend due to COVID-19 isolation or regional restrictions, you are welcome to request a refund of your entry fee, or we would love for you to consider donating it to LOROS Hospice.

Farewell Weekend

Please note that practices may change in line with guidelines but currently for our Farewell Weekend, this means:

  • An outdoor event for ventilation

  • Face masks are required, unless you are exempt.

  • A one-way policy will be in place to ensure social distancing.

  • Advance booking only with contactless tickets. Test and trace details will be taken at the time of booking.

  • Tickets will be sold in allocated time slots to avoid overcrowding ensure social distancing

  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available at multiple points across the venue

  • If you are unwell, are showing symptoms, have tested positive recently for COVID-19 (or been in contact with anyone that has) we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.

  • Should you be unable to attend due to COVID-19 isolation or regional restrictions, you are welcome to request a refund of your entry fee, or we would love for you to consider donating it to LOROS Hospice.

Auction

Please note that practices may change in line with guidelines but currently for our Auction, this means:

  • Following registering your interest for the event, there will be advance booking only. Contactless tickets will be provided with test and trace details taken at the time of booking.

  • There are limited tickets available to ensure social distancing inside the venue.

  • A one-way policy will be in place during the event.

  • Face masks are required, unless you are exempt.

  • There is also the option to bid for the sculptures online.
