An exciting opportunity has come up for us to be able to offer Bank hours for an Occupational Therapist at LOROS supporting our inpatient ward caseload.  


This will be on an adhoc needs basis, being contacted with the offer to work as bank shifts are identified.


Could this be for you?  We are looking for a motivated, experienced and forward thinking Occupational Therapist to work onsite at LOROS as part of our enablement team; consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistant and Administrator.


You should have a sound clinical background and experience of working with patients with palliative care needs, in an inpatient setting.

You will work closely and collaboratively alongside our established Palliative Care Multi-Disciplinary Team using your Occupational Therapy holistic assessment, prioritisation of intervention and discharge planning skills to support our patients and those important to them. Working within a palliative rehabilitative approach.


You should be innovative and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  


To be considered you will need to have proven post graduate experience as an Occupational Therapist and registered with the HCPC.  Membership to the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and specialist section for Managing Long Term Conditions is desirable
