Lottery Telemarketer and Fundraiser

Closing date for applications: Fri 8th October 2021

JOIN THE LOROS TEAM

Job description

Responsibilities and requirements

This is a varied role within Income Generation, raising vital funds for the Hospice through telemarketing, event/venue promotion, door-to-door promotion and leaflet distribution

You will be required to work a number of office hours at LOROS, and throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland at a variety of fundraising events, fairs, Christmas markets, wedding fayres and venues. You will be the voice and face of LOROS Lotteries, recruiting new players to the LOROS Lottery and promoting our seasonal raffles and scratch cards. You will also have the opportunity to research and develop new areas of growth, such as corporate opportunities and new venue prospects.

This position would suit a confident and self-motivated individual, with a compassionate and caring nature. Ideally, you would have a background in telesales and face-to-face sales, a passion and flare for fundraising, and an interest in the charity sector. If this is you, we need you in our team.

Due the nature of the role, transport is required as some locations may not be accessible by public transport.

The LOROS Lottery is a vital source of income for the Hospice. It may only cost £1, but together, it makes a huge difference and supports our patient care. Every year LOROS cares for over 2,500 terminally ill patients, their families and carers. LOROS means so much to so many people, and that’s why we need people like you to help us thrive into the future.
