This is an exciting opportunity for up to 10 residential/nursing homes across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to be part of a six-month programme offering fully funded personalised end of life care training to care home staff.

The next cohort commences in September 2022; Dates are 22nd September, 13th October, 10th November, 1st December 12th January 2023, 9th February. All workshops to be attended face to face at LOROS

FRAILTY AND COMPLEX CO-MORBIDITY: CLINICAL UPDATE WORKSHOPS

These are fully funded workshops for Primary Care Clinicians (including GPs, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, emergency/acute care practitioners, ambulance paramedics and technicians). Colleagues from practices, PCNs, out-of-hours, ambulance and community services are welcome.

The workshops will focus on taking a holistic and evidence-based approach.  They will be practical: focusing on discussing ‘real life’ dilemmas, case studies and scenarios that happen in practice; interactive: responding to your questions and the challenges that you face in your practice; and supportive: recognising that the situations we will be discussing are clinically, ethically and emotionally challenging.
