Donating your unwanted items to LOROS

Our warehouses at Glenfield and Pullman Road, Wigston accept donations.

  • Pullman road warehouse (Wigston superstore)
Unfortunately, we’ve had to temporarily close our Pullman Road warehouse while we sort through the incredible volume of donations we’ve received. However, our shop remains open.
We hope to reopen the warehouse on Monday 29th April. Thank you for your patience.

  • Glenfield warehouse is open for donations Monday to Saturday 9.30am - 4.30pm.

DONATING ITEMS

Donating items to LOROS shops

The Hospice is grateful for the generous donations given to support its work. However in order to raise income and ensure that we attract customers to our shops we politely request that items are of good quality, not broken or soiled. If items are broken, damaged or soiled it means we have the expense of disposing of the items.

Items we do accept

  • Clean clothes
  • Bric-a-brac items
  • Small electrical items
  • Boxed toys and games
  • Computer games and consoles
  • Books

Furnishings need to comply with the 1988 fire regulations and items must have fire labels attached. Any items of furniture made from glass requires the British Standard kite mark.

Items we do not accept

  • Videos/cassettes
  • Dismantled furniture
  • Fabric covered furniture with no fire labels
