Gift aid for LOROS

There is no minimum amount that an individual tax payer may give to charity under the Gift Aid scheme and LOROS could benefit considerably if more supporters used it.

At current tax rates, for example, if a donor gives £100 to LOROS we can reclaim from the Inland Revenue £25, making the donation worth £125 - not a bad arrangement.

Note: Gift Aid is not applicable to the purchase of raffle tickets or to membership of the LOROS Lottery.

Gift aid for LOROS

I would like LOROS to treat this donation, any donations I make in the future and any I have made in the past 4 years as Gift Aid donations. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that LOROS will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

Please notify the charity if you:

  1. Want to cancel this declaration

  2. Change your name or home address

  3. No longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
