LOROS offers specialised care for patients over the age of 18 with complex needs who are suffering from a terminal illness when cure is no longer possible. We also offer support for patients’ families and carers.

Eligibility
Am I eligible for care at LOROS?
Patients must be registered with a GP within Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland
Referrals are generally made by a GP, hospital consultant or hospital palliative care team, or are facilitated by a community nurse specialist
Patients eligible for referral are usually suffering from advanced cancer or other life-limiting conditions, such as Motor Neurone Disease, heart failure or respiratory disease
All of our services are free of charge to all patients based upon clinical need
