LOROS Charity - Donation Warehouse Manager

£10.70 per hour. Plus Bonus Scheme
37.5 hours, Monday to Saturday. Alternative Saturdays.
to include weekend and bank holidays as required
Are you a highly motivated organised individual with a passion for charity retail? Would you like to make a difference in the local community by raising vital funds to support terminally ill patients, their family and carers?
Reporting to the Retail Manager you will be responsible managing one of our Donation
Warehouses. As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for accepting Donations
from our Donors and processing them ready to distribute to one of our 29 shops, whilst
promoting Retail Gift Aid to raise additional income for the hospice.
You will be required to recruit, supervise and coach volunteers within a safe working
environment. As a warehouse manager you will be required to support the shop
manager with all aspect of Health and Safety and general day to day management of
the Warehouse and Shop site.
Excellent communication skills and a good organiser are essential
as two days are never the same and you will need to be able to adapt to change at
the last minute depending on flow of donations.
Passion, drive and enthusiasm is essential to sort and pack through many unique and
amazing donations we receive and enable to know which shop to be sent to maximise
the income from the donation.
