LOROS Hospice is delighted to announce the opening of its new concept store, This + That by LOROS, on Thursday 21st November at 11am.

Located on Leicester’s busy High Street, This + That is built around sustainable shopping and social conscience.  Featuring pre-loved fashion and upcycled clothing, and set within a beautiful store design created from reused furniture and donated paint, This +That is a brand new immersive experience for ethical shoppers.

As well as offering a curated collection of fashion gems, purchases from This + That have a direct impact on LOROS Hospice’s care for patients and families too, so shoppers know their pounds are doing social good as well as bagging a bargain.

Jamila Khalfan, Head of Retail at LOROS Hospice said: “This + That has a unique look and feel that sets it apart from our other stores, with a strong focus on sustainability. Our fantastic Retail team has worked so hard to bring this vision to life, and we we’re thrilled to invite everyone to come and see it for themselves.”

“We know that shoppers are increasingly discerning and want their spend to support both charity as well as sustainability. This + That by LOROS ticks those boxes. Pre-loved fashion is a sustainable choice for the environment as well as the pocket.”

Explore the pre-loved collection, featuring vintage womenswear and menswear, bespoke bric-a-brac, and a selection of books and vinyl records. With two floors of carefully curated products, This + That promises a unique shopping experience for everyone.

This + That opens its doors on Thursday 21st November with treats available for the first customers, including a prize draw to win £100 charity gift card. The celebrations continue into launch weekend with several live bands playing in the shop across Saturday and Sunday.

The store is also offering over 50 volunteering opportunities to help young people develop new skills and experience, with shifts available throughout the week. Anyone interested in volunteering opportunities can visit loros.co.uk/volunteering for details.
