Looking for a Christmas jumper with heart this year? LOROS Hospice has you covered!
Introducing the LOROS Christmas jumper – a festive favourite which helps supporters celebrate the festive season while raising vital funds for local hospice care.
The story behind the jumper is as heartwarming as the design. Seema Thakkar’s dad, Vipin Mashru, was cared for at LOROS in his final days.
Seema said: “LOROS gave us something we will always be grateful for. Their care gave Dad comfort, dignity and precious time, and it gave our family the chance to say goodbye knowing he was safe, comfortable and cared for. For that, we will always be grateful.
“It was Dad’s wish that I support this amazing charity and help it continue caring for other patients and families the way it cared for us.”
Now Seema, with her uncle Naresh Popat, has helped LOROS to work with a Leicester-based knitwear manufacturer to develop the jumper, with the aim of raising thousands for patient care.

Every jumper sold will help us provide specialist care and support to patients and their families at a time when they need it most. It's a wonderful way for people to enjoy the festive season while making a real difference in their local community."
Don't stop at the jumper! Matching dog jumpers, hats and scarves are also available, so the whole family can show their support this festive time. All products are manufactured from recycled cotton t shirt yarn and recycled plastic bottles so they are good for the planet as well as the hospice.
“I’d urge everyone to snap them up quick before we sell out!”, adds Camilla.
