In May, Helen & Coco set out on an incredible and emotional 120-mile walk in memory of her beloved Mum, who spent her final weeks in the compassionate care of LOROS Hospice. The route represented a personal journey — from Kirkham in Lancashire, where her Mum grew up and made cherished memories, to the place where her life came to a peaceful close at LOROS.
Helen’s mission was simple but deeply heartfelt: to raise funds so that other families could receive the same comfort and dignity that her Mum experienced in her final days.
Every step of the way was powered by love, remembrance, and the kindness of those who donated. And for the final stretch, Helen was joined by Laura and Fendi from the LOROS Fundraising team, a meaningful moment that symbolised the shared spirit of support that defines the hospice.
Thanks to generous supporters, Helen raised an incredible £565 for LOROS — an outstanding 376% more than her original fundraising target. This remarkable achievement reflects the incredible support she received from friends and family, all united in honouring her Mum’s memory.
