Massive thanks to Cindy Sullivan, who raised an incredible £2,409.02 for LOROS through a fantastic charity event at Cosby Club.
Cindy shared that she and her siblings have been fundraising for various charities since losing their brother, Stuart, to a brain tumour in 2003. What began with quizzes — one of Stuart’s favourite things and something he used to do himself to raise money — has grown over the years to include coffee mornings and many other events.
After hearing that LOROS was at risk of losing some amenities due to lack of funding, Cindy chose to support the hospice as this year’s chosen charity. The event was a great success, both financially and in terms of enjoyment on the day, with the bucket challenge being a real highlight.
Cindy said it was a privilege to support LOROS, and everyone is already looking forward to the next event.
