Carol concert in Quorn raises funds for LOROS

On the evening of 12th December, Quorn Village Hall was filled with the joyful sound of Christmas as Hathern Brass Band made their much-loved annual visit to perform to a packed and enthusiastic audience. The hall rang with merry carolling, old favourites were sung with gusto, and the evening provided a truly Christmassy start to the festive season for everyone who attended.

The event was held in support of local charity LOROS, and thanks to the generosity of the community, all ticket income was donated, alongside funds raised through a raffle supported by local businesses. In total, an incredible £742.00 was raised on the night.

Quorn Parish Council would like to extend their sincere thanks to the wonderful members of Hathern Brass Band for so generously giving their time and talent, and to everyone who came along to support the evening. Your kindness and enthusiasm made the event such a success.

We would also like to thank the following businesses and individuals for their generous raffle prize donations: The White Horse, Royal Oak, Velvet Fox, Maud’s Closet, Quorn Post Office, and several generous Quorn residents.

Events like this highlight the very best of our community, and we are extremely grateful to everyone who helped make the evening so special while supporting such an important local cause.
