Seven-year-old Margot showed that kindness has no age limit when she decided to raise money for LOROS in memory of her great uncle, Steve Harrison, who sadly passed away six months ago.
LOROS supported Steve and continue to support the family, and Margot was determined to “do her bit” to say thank you.
With the help of her five-year-old brother, Jasper, Margot carefully made bracelets to sell. She set up a table on her driveway in Lutterworth, created her own poster, and bravely spoke to passers-by about why she was fundraising. Family and friends also showed their support by purchasing bracelets.
Despite the cold weather, Margot and Jasper stayed outside, welcoming everyone with smiles and explaining that the money was being raised in memory of Steve and for the amazing care LOROS provides. People were deeply touched by their story and gave generously.
Thanks to her determination, creativity, and huge heart, Margot raised an incredible £131.16.
What makes this even more special is not just the amount raised, but the compassion behind it. Margot’s kindness is a beautiful reflection of the love she has for her great uncle and the gratitude her family feels for the support they continue to receive.
Thank you, Margot and Jasper, for reminding us that even the smallest hands can make the biggest difference. 💜
