We were delighted to welcome Charlie to the hospice yesterday, where he dropped off a collection of beautiful handmade Easter cards for our patients.
Charlie, who is 12 years old and in Year 7, took on this thoughtful project as part of his school’s Thomas Burton Award, which encourages students to set personal challenges—including a special “heart” component focused on kindness and giving back.
His cards brought smiles to so many faces, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, care and compassion he has shown.
Well done, Charlie—you should be very proud of yourself. You’ve made a real difference 💛
