We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Hinckley Unitarians for their incredible fundraising efforts in support of LOROS Hospice.
From January through to the end of March 2026, the congregation organised six coffee mornings, all of which were very well attended by members, friends, and many new faces. Guests enjoyed delicious slices of homemade cake, gallons of tea and coffee, and plenty of raffle tickets — all contributing to a fantastic community atmosphere.
Alongside the coffee mornings, generous giving after services helped raise an amazing £1,500 for LOROS. This outstanding total is a testament to the kindness and commitment of everyone involved.
The support from the whole congregation was truly fantastic, and we were also delighted to welcome visitors from the Hinckley LOROS Support Group, further strengthening the connection between the charity and the local community.
Ellie‑May and Christine officially presented the cheque, and with Debbie as their guide, they were given a tour of the hospice to see first‑hand the facilities and services provided to support patients’ health, wellbeing, and recreation.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Hinckley Unitarians for choosing to support LOROS. Your generosity will help us continue to provide compassionate care and support to patients and families when they need it most.
