We would like to say a huge thank you to Oakwood Community School, who raised an incredible £2,900 in just one day in support of LOROS Hospice.
On a recent staff training day, the whole team came together to take part in a range of activities, showing amazing teamwork, creativity, and a real sense of community spirit. It was inspiring to see staff supporting one another and embracing the day with such enthusiasm — all while raising vital funds for LOROS.
By choosing LOROS as their Charity of the Year, Oakwood Community School has already shown a wonderful commitment to making a difference within the local community. This fantastic fundraising day is just the beginning, and we’re so excited to see what else is to come.
There are already plans for more activities and opportunities for students to get involved, giving young people the chance to learn about compassion, community, and the power of helping others while playing an active role in supporting a local charity.
Every pound raised will help LOROS continue to provide care, comfort, and support to patients, families, and children when they need it most.
