Everyone at LOROS Hospice would like to extend our sincere thanks to Birstall Golf Club and everyone involved in last week's Seniors Open for your incredible support.
We were delighted to hear that the raffle raised an amazing £858 for LOROS, thanks to the generosity of members, guests and visitors, and the tireless efforts of Cindy Smith, who enthusiastically sold raffle tickets throughout the day.
A huge thank you also goes to all the volunteers, organisers and staff who helped make the event such a success. From those staffing the registration desk, Roger Spencer as Honorary Starter, Mike and Kieran managing the scoring, the catering team serving 160 bacon rolls and coffees, the greenkeeping team preparing the course, and Sandra Clarke at the halfway house, your hard work and dedication helped create a fantastic event.
As Birstall Golf Club celebrated its 125th Anniversary Week, you not only showcased the spirit and community of the Club but also made a meaningful difference to the patients and families supported by LOROS.
