Tiny supporters make a big difference

Gallery

LOROS was delighted to welcome some very special visitors from Daisy Chain Nursery, who recently visited the hospice to present an amazing donation of £500, raised through their sports day.

The children, accompanied by nursery staff, brought plenty of smiles and laughter with them as they toured the hospice. Their enthusiasm and curiosity brightened the day for staff, patients and visitors alike, reminding us all of the power of community support.

After presenting their cheque, the children enjoyed exploring the hospice and learning more about LOROS. A well-earned juice and biscuit break gave everyone the chance to refuel before heading outside to discover the garden instruments. The young visitors had great fun creating magical music and filling the gardens with cheerful sounds.

The children were also excited to spot the spectacular elephant sculptures from Stomp Round Leicester and couldn't leave without stopping to say hello to the hospice fish, which proved to be another highlight of their visit.

The £500 raised through the nursery's sports day will help LOROS continue providing compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients and their families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Everyone at LOROS would like to say a huge thank you to the children, staff, parents and carers of Daisy Chain Nursery for their incredible efforts and generosity. It was wonderful to welcome such enthusiastic young supporters to the hospice, and we are so grateful for the difference they are making.

Thank you, Daisy Chain Nursery, for showing that even the smallest supporters can make a huge impact.
