Event Details

We're delighted to welcome you to the prestigious Winstanley House for the LOROS Annual Lunch – a spectacular afternoon of fine dining, shopping and fabulous entertainment.

On the day, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, before browsing our special shopping hall filled with unique gifts. You will then be treated to a delicious two-course meal.

We are pleased to welcome our very special guest speaker, The Reverend Canon Kate Bottley, who will present her popular talk, God and Gogglebox. In this entertaining talk, Kate reflects on her road to faith, her philosophy on life and how this made her a household name. Packed with humour and insight, the talk features plenty of funny stories about her time as a priest.

Originally from Sheffield, The Reverend Canon Kate Bottley is an Anglican priest in North Nottinghamshire. After featuring in a viral flashmob video on YouTube Kate was invited to be part of the regular Gogglebox cast on Channel 4.

In 2017, Kate journeyed to Camino de Santiago for The Pilgrimage, a three-part travelogue series for BBC 2. As well as this, Kate headed the award-winning documentary In the Footsteps of Judas as a special Easter commission for BBC1.
