We have now been able to arrange to start the walk from the Fishing Lodge and to park cars in the Fishery maintenance area just below the Lodge. This will provide ample off-road parking for the event as well as toilets. The walk will proceed in a clockwise direction from the lodge ending with last half of the walk passing through the woodland and across the dam.
Access to the Lodge is by the gate from the Great Easton Road about 200 mtrs from its junction with the A6003; the Fishery is signposted using brown signs on both the A6003 and Great Easton Road and we will have our own signage and marshals at the entrance. We will also have parking marshals in place to assist with orderly parking.
We have arranged for the Boundary Box catering trailer to provide a complimentary drink at the end of the walk.
