We are delighted to launch the 24th year of the LOROS Bridge League competition.
The league is played using the Rubber Bridge format. However, if you prefer to play using Chicago scoring, please contact the organiser when registering and this can be accommodated.
Each group will consist of a minimum of 2 pairs and a maximum of 5 pairs. Each pair will play four matches within their group. In groups of two pairs, competitors will play each other four times. Larger groups can either play a round-robin format or arrange matches as agreed within the group.
All fixtures should be arranged by the players and completed by 31st March 2027. Matches may be played at a mutually convenient venue or online.
The LOROS Bridge League is intended to be a friendly and enjoyable competition, bringing bridge players together while supporting the work of LOROS. It is hoped that the winners of each group will be invited to a Finals Evening at LOROS Hospice to compete for the LOROS Bridge Trophy on Thursday 6th May 2027.
