Event Details
We’re excited to bring back our 100 mile bike ride all the way around the glorious countryside of Leicestershire – and this year, if you’re not quite up for the full distance there is a new 50 mile option.
Take in stunning views, local landmarks and sample delicious local produce along the way. This event is a true celebration of Leicestershire! See the very best of what our stunning county has to offer, taste some of the best local delicacies and enjoy a beautiful day out in the countryside.
Many cyclists choose to take on the challenge with family, friends, colleagues, club members, or ride in memory of someone special.

Tackle the ultimate 100 mile route
With approximately 4,500ft / 1300m of elevation, this longer and hillier course is ideal for experienced cyclists, anyone training for bigger events, stepping up from shorter distances, or ticking off a bucket list achievement.
Join the new shorter 50 mile route
Still a challenging ride with around 500m of climb, but more achievable for those with fewer miles under their belt. A scenic, point to point ride on the second half our Leicestershire Round route – covering half the distance for those who aren’t quite up to doing 100 miles or those who simply want a little less time in the saddle.
What do you need to know?
Entry is FREE. All we ask in return is that you pledge to raise £100 per person for LOROS Hospice. So please do encourage family, friends and your wider audience to sponsor you. This is a completely not for profit event, where every penny goes towards caring for the patients in our care and supporting their families.
The 100 mile ride starts at 6.30am, from the famous Café Ventoux, Tugby, LE7 9WE. Arrival from 5.30am, with tea, coffee, toilets, bike racking all available at the start.
100 mile riders will be staggered off the start line between 6.30am-6.45am.
The 50 mile ride starts at the half-way mark of the longer ride at Bosworth Marina, Carlton Road, Market Bosworth, Nuneaton, CV13 6PG. 50-mile riders can start between 9:00am – 9:30am.
50 mile riders should park at Bosworth Marina. Return transport back to Bosworth Marina will be provided at the finish line (time tbc).
The route is in the process of being finalised and will be shared in due course, alongside details of rest stops.
Helmets are compulsory for all riders, and we highly recommend using a road bike for the event. If you are unsure if your bike is suitable, please contact us at fundraising@loros.co.uk
