Join us as we journey to one of the new wonders of the world in an unforgettable trek to the heart of Inca civilisation, Machu Picchu, in support of LOROS Hospice.
This incredible experience follows the beautiful and lesser-travelled Ancascocha Trail, offering a more peaceful route through the Peruvian Andes. Over several memorable days, you’ll walk ancient Inca pathways, taking in snow-capped mountains, flowing rivers and remote Andean communities along the way.
The trek is carefully paced to help you adjust to the altitude, with experienced leaders and guides by your side every step of the way. Each day brings a new challenge and a growing sense of achievement, as you push yourself further than you thought possible while soaking up the landscapes, culture and shared moments that make the journey unforgettable.
After several days on the trail, the reward is extraordinary. You are not alone! You’ll have a dedicated contact here at LOROS, along with the support of others who are taking on the challenge for LOROS. If you like, we will introduce you to a team WhatsApp group so you can get to know the rest of the team taking part.
We will also offer guidance throughout the build-up to the challenge itself and send you all our opportunities to join in on LOROS training walks.
When it comes to fundraising, we can support you too. We’ll introduce you to fundraising tools such as JustGiving and sponsor forms, loan you equipment, suggest ideas for reaching your target and provide you with a timeline of milestones to keep you on track!
