We hope that you may join us to celebrate and acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of Professor Christina Faull, whose impact on palliative care at LOROS, and beyond, has been nothing short of remarkable. She will be leaving the organisation, after more than 20 years of dedicated service, on Christmas Eve.
We hope you can join us on December 19th, 1pm-3pm, in seminar room one, to reflect on her incredible legacy and lasting influence.
Christina is, without a doubt, a pioneer in her field. She has literally written the manual, or more accurately, manuals, on palliative care—two award-winning textbooks that have become invaluable resources for healthcare professionals globally.
Her dedication to placing patients and their families first is always the forefront of her work.
She became a Professor at the University of Leicester in 2018, and Christina has led a robust and impactful research programme in partnership with the university and LOROS. Her work has translated into tangible improvements in care for our patients and their families and Christina was instrumental in establishing the LOROS Centre for Excellence in October 2022.
Throughout her career, Christina has been a mentor, leader, and advocate—her unique style has left an indelible mark on all who have had the privilege to work with her.
Please join us in celebrating Christina's achievements and in wishing her the very best as she embarks on the next chapter of her journey. We are forever grateful for her tireless dedication, and we are inspired to carry forward the values she has instilled in us.
We look forward to seeing you there.
