An introduction to transitioning from children to adult hospice services by LOROS and Rainbows

by Fiona Finch

For those of you who haven’t already attended, we are very pleased to let you know that there will be another training session looking at the needs of young people and some of the issues they face around transition.

An introduction to transitioning from children to adult hospice services by LOROS and Rainbows

When; Tues 17th February 2026 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Where; LOROS

We know that for a lot of patients and their families the transition from children to adult services can be really stressful.  They have often used the same services for years so they know and trust the staff there.  Young people and families describe feeling anxious about the services being different and about all the other changes that happen when someone turns 18.

The training session will be a really good opportunity to meet staff from LOROS, Rainbows and other organisations, share your experiences and to understand how we can support young people and their families to feel more confident and comfortable about accessing LOROS services.
