A massive shoutout goes to Rob Owen from Thurmaston, who has reached an astonishing fundraising milestone – raising £100,000 for LOROS Hospice!
Over the past five years, Rob (42) has taken on an epic annual challenge: running a gruelling 120km in 24 hours around the King Power Stadium. And he hasn’t done it alone – joined by friends Jake and Dan, the trio have each clocked up an incredible 600km in total!
What started as a lockdown idea (and a challenge some thought was impossible!) has turned into something truly life-changing. Inspired by the care LOROS gave to loved ones, they set out to give back – and wow, have they delivered.
