With the summer holidays just around the corner, many of us will be thinking about ways to keep children, grandchildren, and young people entertained. Why not turn some of that energy, creativity, and fun into something meaningful by fundraising for LOROS?
Whether it’s:
A sponsored bike ride around the block (maybe 10 laps for a challenge!)
A lemonade stand on the driveway
Handmade crafts or bracelets to sell
A mini bake sale with friends and neighbours
There are so many simple and enjoyable ways young people can get involved, have fun, and make a real difference.
Fundraising like this not only helps support the work of LOROS, but also gives young people the opportunity to learn about kindness, community, and helping others in a fun and engaging way. It’s amazing what a little idea can grow into!
If you know a young person who might be interested, we’d love to support them along the way. Whether it’s ideas, resources, or a bit of guidance, we’re here to help.

Let’s make this summer one to remember — full of fun, creativity, and making a difference.
