We're excited to share that our herd of Elephants will be stampeding into the city later this year from 14th July to 21st September.
Every giant Elephant on the trail will be designed by talented artists from the local area and further afield and sponsored by a business. Also roaming across the city will be our herd of Mini Stompers, adopted and decorated by schools and community groups as part of our exciting Learning Programme.

We have a range of volunteering opportunities to get involved in from looking after our precious elephants, providing key information to the public about our trail and supporting at some of our events. Whatever it is you’re interested in getting involved in, there’s something for everyone. Even better, it’s an opportunity for volunteers to boost their CV and gain new skills and experiences!

Last month we held our Inspirational Event where over 50 of our Learning Programme partners visited the Hospice to find out how they can put a creative stomp on their Mini Stomper. We are delighted to now have over 80 schools and community groups signed up to the Learning Programme!

All artists have now been commissioned to paint our 40 giant Elephants after a very tough decision between some creative submissions!
As part of the corporate art selection event, four different galleries showcased the different artwork that artists from Leicester and beyond have put forward for consideration. We plan to organise an exclusive viewing for all LOROS colleagues of the selected artwork to allow you a chance to get your own sneak peek! Watch this space for more details.
By now you've probably seen one or both of the giant Elephants that have already been painted for this year’s Stomp Round Leicester art trail. These are the first of 40 giant Elephants which will form part of the final art trail launching in July.
