Don't leave hospice care to chance
Next week is Hospice Care Week, and this year’s theme is Don’t leave hospice care to chance.
Throughout the week, we’ll be using our social media channels to highlight why everyone should be able to access expert, compassionate hospice care when they need it – and the challenges facing hospices in making that possible.
We’ll be sharing stories that show what hospice care really means, from the clinical, emotional and practical support our teams provide to the special moments they help create for patients and families. We’ll also shine a light on the extraordinary things our community does to help fund our care.
The week also coincides with the 30th birthday of the LOROS Lottery, giving us an opportunity to celebrate three decades of support and reinforce an important message: the Lottery may be about chance, but the difference our players make to hospice care is real.
