To start our infection prevention week, the LLR roving healthcare unit will be returning to LOROS on 19th October. It will be situated in the rear car park from 10am - 4pm. For those eligible, Flu, Covid, MMR, RSV and Whooping Cough vaccines will be available. This service is open for staff, volunteers, patients and visitors.
The theme for this year is the history of infection prevention. A display on the development and impact of vaccinations will be situated in the social area.
During the week the Infection Prevention Lead and members of the link team will encourage staff, volunteers and visitors to take the hand washing test! We will have the light box in the social area for us all to see how well we wash our hands.
