Last year’s Reindeer Run was nothing short of sleigh-tastic—bringing families together, exciting young participants, and raising a wonderful amount in support of LOROS.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Reindeer Run is back for 2025, from 1st November to 19th December, and you're warmly invited to help spread the joy! This beloved fundraising event is designed to be entirely flexible: schools, Scouts groups, brownies, parent–teacher associations—or any community group—can choose their own date, distance, and location to host a magical “run” (or walk).
We’ve made it extra easy to get involved:
A pair of reindeer antlers for every participating child (with a minimum £5 sponsorship per child)
Sponsorship forms and a dedicated JustGiving page
Certificates of achievement, Lionel bunting, and even the chance for Lionel to appear and kick off the event!
If you have children or grandchildren (or school- or group-related contacts), please encourage them to gather their “reindeer recruits” this winter. It’s fun, festive, and supports LOROS.
