For people coming into the LOROS inpatient ward, life has usually been turned upside down by illness, pain and long hospital stays. Familiar comforts can feel far away — especially something as basic as sharing a bed with the person you love.
That’s why our cuddle beds mean so much. Designed to extend so partners can lie side by side, they allow couples — many who have shared a bed for decades — to hold hands, rest together and feel close again. When illness takes away so much, being able to offer this small piece of normal life is a powerful reminder that love and connection still matter, today and every day.
