Fun packed, ONE BIG BIKE RIDE 2012!

The LOROS One Big Bike Ride event will again take place on Sunday 29th April 2012.

It is hoped that riders will come out in force to join the ride at the stunning Rutland Water and that hundreds of cyclists will gain sponsorship for LOROS to raise much needed funds towards the provision of palliative care to terminally-ill patients from the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland.

The One BIG Bike Ride hopes to increase participation and support this year. Over £20,000 was raised in last years event and we are asking you to get on your bikes again and join in with one of the three rides to start and finish at Rutland Water, Whitwell Car Park. Riders can choose a 7, 18 or 25 mile off road leisure cycle ride for all ages and abilities. The 18 and 25 miles routes start at 9.30am and 7 mile starts at 10.30am.

There will be special one off reusable goodie bags on the day with bananas, water etc and entertainment on the day. Medals to be awarded by a special guest. There will also be a BBQ with tasty food and refreshments to buy!

So come along for a good day out while supporting LOROS! To take part, contact the Fundraising Department on 0116 2318431 and a Registration Form will be sent out to you. Return the form with your registration fee (Adults £5, Children £2.50 and Family £10) and we will send you a sponsorship pack so that you can start your fundraising straight away.
