Trevor Shaw, who works for business advisers and accountants Grant Thornton in Leicester, spent four days completing the Leicestershire Round.

In the process he raised more than £1,200 for the PROSTaid cancer charity and LOROS hospice.

Trevor's walk was part of the Grant Thornton Executive Quest, which has seen dozens of Leicestershire business people complete challenges in aid of the two good causes.

Trevor, a business tax director, said: "It was a lot of hard work but I'm really pleased I did it and felt a great sense of achievement and relief when crossing the finishing line.

"I saw some amazingly beautiful Leicestershire countryside and unfortunately had to walk past a lot of great village pubs."
