Earlier today LOROS welcomed Leicester City Mayor Peter Soulsby.
Peter was given a tour of the Hospice by Chief Executive Simon Proffitt and LOROS President, Jennifer, Lady Gretton.
Peter had a lovely time, meeting with some of our staff and commented on what a wonderful and caring organisation we are.
Staff at LOROS Hospice – including nurses on the inpatient ward – swapped their uniforms for pyjamas yesterday, as part of a fundraiser celebrating the launch of a new charity sleepwear range.
40 giant elephants from LOROS Hospice’s Stomp Round Leicester art trail were auctioned off last night, raising a mammoth £286,800 for the charity.
