LOROS were recently the recipient of a very generous donation of £2,500 from a local Freemasons Lodge.
Morley Lodge held raffles and collections with generous donations from its members and decided to use it to support the Hospice.
David Ayres of the Morley Lodge, said, “We are delighted to be able to help such a wonderful local charity, whose support is felt by many across the county.”
Emma Jones, Supporter Engagement Co-ordinator at LOROS, added: "The Hospice has been hit incredibly hard by this pandemic and many of our supporters have been unable to fundraise in the community because of the lockdown and restrictions.
"It was such a pleasure to attend the presentation and to hear why they chose to support LOROS; we are very grateful".
