A massive thank you to everyone that came to visit us at the Hospice for LOROS’ Big Day Out on Saturday 19th August 2023. The sun shone beautifully all day and we were delighted to welcome well over 1,100 people through our doors.
We were delighted by entertainment from EPA Dance Studios, Olivia King, Chloe Finch, Williams Creatives, Michael Hanson, DJ Ozzy and Sing it Happy Choir, whilst some beautiful gifts were available to purchase throughout the LOROS Professional Development Centre.
A huge range of family fun activities were enjoyed by all throughout the Hospice grounds; including go karting, mini golf, bouncy slides and obstacle course, axe throwing and much, much more. The Rapid Relief Team put on an amazing BBQ for all our visitors, and many people opted to join in on a more private Hospice tours to see for themselves just how we care for more than 2,500 patients and their families every year.
Thank you to everyone that attended and donated as part of the various stalls on offer; we simply couldn’t do what we do without you!
