South Asian Heritage month is a fairly new awareness month, originally created by 2 people, Jasvir Singh and Binita Kane, passionate about their culture and history. The theme for the month is ‘stories to tell’ and if you have been in the social area this month you may have noticed the display boards which show just a handful of local stories and a bit of history behind our diverse city. We also sent out a small pack of information at the start of the month which you can find here.
For those who could attend, thank you so much for being part of what was a great celebration and lots of new connections were made- as well as some amazing food being shared!
