I am pleased to let you know we have appointed our new Director of Finance and Resources, Emma Clarke.
Emma’s first proper day at LOROS will be 1st August but she’s spending some time at the hospice beforehand to make sure of a really smooth handover with Wayne. Please do say hello if your paths cross.
Emma is a chartered accountant with substantial experience in the not for profit sector. Most recently she has worked as a Finance Director for a Multi Academy Trust spanning Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland alongside acting as a national Schools Resource Management Advisor on behalf of the Dept for Education. Emma was previously a senior leader in the NSPCC’s Training and Consultancy division.
I hope you’ll join me in welcoming Emma as she takes over the role from Wayne in August (more to follow on Wayne’s departure!).
