What will you be doing?
Regular visiting of the in-patient ward and Day Therapy to provide religious, spiritual and pastoral care to individuals.
To respond appropriately and sensitively to needs as requested, for example visiting the seriously ill, dying, and bereaved/distressed.
To facilitate collective worship and prayer as requested.
To participate in the training and education of staff, if appropriate.
To develop personal awareness and skills relevant to the role and to undertake training as available.
To maintain a high degree of discretion and absolute confidentiality
(subject to signing the LOROS confidentiality agreement).
Essential Requirements
Applicants must be over 18 and the role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check
