Volunteering at LOROS

Volunteers are an important part of daily life at the Hospice. We rely on a team of around 1,300 volunteers who give up their time to help us with a wide range of tasks.

VOLUNTEER AT LOROS

Volunteering opportunities

We have a variety of rewarding volunteer roles available across the Hospice, in our shops, lottery department, and at our events.

If you can offer some time, whether weekly, fortnightly or monthly, we would love to hear from you.

Complete the application form found on the relevant vacancy listing. If you have any questions you can read the volunteers handbook here.

Could you be the next member of the LOROS family?

We can only offer volunteer roles to those aged 18 or over.  We do occasionally have availability for volunteers aged 16 and 17 to work in our shops and we also, on occasions, offer Duke of Edinburgh award placements to young people aged 14 and over.  If this is of interest please email us for further information.

We strongly advise that all applicants are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on application to Hospice based and patient facing roles, if they are able, as a means for employees and volunteers to protect their own health and that of our vulnerable patients.
