The Annual LOROS Twilight Walk and BIGGEST GIRLS NIGHT OUT in Leicester is coming! Join us and ladies of all ages and fitness levels on a 10k sponsored walk. Starting from the King Power Stadium for this year’s 999 Emergency theme walk on Saturday 26th April which is sure to be the BIGGEST Twilight Walk yet!

Pippa Whitworth, a participant of the Twilight Walk 2014, said: “Dave my husband was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in July 2012. LOROS became involved very early on after exploratory surgery. LOROS came to us as soon as we got home, sorting his medication, making sure he was comfortable, checking I was ok too and listening to everything we said and not judging. LOROS kept ringing and checking up on everything. On April 8th 2013 at 11.40am Dave passed away in my arms. I just can't thank LOROS enough for all they did for him, especially those last few weeks. They took away his pain and treated him like a human being. My friends, family and I are doing this walk to thank LOROS for everything and to keep Dave’s memory alive. Thank you again LOROS for everything as you made the worst experience of our lives just a little bit more bearable.”

The theme “999 Emergency” calls for Doctors, Nurses, Firegirls, Policewomen and many more emergency service themed outfits. Merchandise for this event is available on the event’s registration website. To see more details about the event, the course map and to register please visit www.thetwilightwalk.co.uk.
