That's just what our intrepid team of fundraisers have been doing for the past few days.

12 volunteers and their support staff are well on their way to completing the West Highland Way challenge to raise funds for LOROS.

Adrian Walker, Senior Fundraiser at LOROS is heading up the team who hope to raise in excess of 7 thousand pounds for the hospice.

He said "The weather has been great until today when we have experience a whole day of rain. That said, the team spirit has not been dampened and we are looking forward to walking the 16 miles to Kings House Hotel near Glen Coe tomorrow (Wednesday).

"We are well over half way through the challenge and other than a few grazes and blisters, we are all in good shape. We have two more days of walking and then we will be climbing Ben Nevis on Saturday before returning to Leicester on Sunday".

If you would like to take part in next year's challenge, then please visit the LOROS website where details will shortly be posted in the events section.
