Jean and Gerry Busby, long serving volunteers at LOROS, have been honoured with an award in recognition of their service to the community and to LOROS in particular.

The trophy was awarded by The Braunstone Life magazine committee, and was presented at their recent Annual Awards and Thank You Party which was held at Winstanley Community College.

Adrian Walker, senior fundraiser at LOROS said, "Jean & Gerry have been fundraising for LOROS for many years and, during the past three years, have also encouraged their son, Paul, to run fundraising events for us at Abbey Sports & Leisure.

"I am delighted that they have been recognised for their hard work and commitment, which we totally endorse, and I would like to add our thanks and congratulations on their well deserved award."
