A pub-goer is organising a 24-hour quiz to raise money for hospice charity LOROS and diabetes research at Leicester’s hospitals.

Jeff Pearce organised a 36-hour pub games marathon last year at The Old Crown in the village.

This year, he is holding an all-day sponsored pub quiz. It will start at midday on Saturday, June 7, and finish at midday on Sunday.

There will then be a raffle and an auction where lots will include signed Leicester City and Tigers’ shirts and a signed and framed Leicstershire County Cricket Club bat.
