Alan Birchenall, LOROS Patron, has kindly agreed to organise a penalty shootout for patients, patients’ families, volunteers and staff on Wednesday 18th June at 11am in the grounds of the Hospice.

Diane Morris, LOROS Fundraising Manager said, “With the excitement surrounding the World Cup, members of the Nursing and Enablement Teams asked if Alan Birchenall would be willing to brighten everyone’s day by hosting a penalty shootout.

"Birch immediately agreed and said he would need to get some practice in and hoped he wouldn’t be reminded of England’s previous woes in penalty shootouts.”

Patients and their families are very much looking forward to the event and having the opportunity of meeting legend, THE BIRCH!
