LOROS would like to say a huge good luck to Justine and her family, who are taking part in the Equinox 10k on 20th September, in memory of their loved one, Angela.

Justine said: “Three years ago we tragically lost our dear Angela; a mother, daughter, wife, sister, auntie and nanny.

"Angela's final weeks were spent in the care of the wonderful staff at LOROS hospice; she was treated with great dignity and respect and we will be forever grateful for their care and kindness. Since LOROS depends solely on donations to continue their fantastic work, our family have decided to raise much needed funds for a cause very close to our hearts.

"13 of us will be taking part in the Equinox 10k Run at Belvoir Castle on September 20th. For many of us this will be a big challenge and we will need all the support we can get; please help us by donating and sharing our page with your family and friends."

Laura Fitzsawyer, Fundraising Assistant at LOROS, said: “We would like to thank Justine and her family for taking on the Equinox challenge. They have raised an amazing £1,419 so far and we wish them the best of luck with their continued fundraising.

"It is with the support of our generous community that LOROS can continue to provide high quality care and support to our patients and their loved ones.”
