Dig out your walking boots on Sunday 14th September and join us on our annual sponsored ‘Walk on the Wildside’ event.

Come along and enjoy the walk, which passes through the beautiful Bradgate Park and enchanting Swithland Wood. We have changed our routes slightly this year but they will still start and finish at the Severn Trent Water Visitor Centre, Cropston. There are three to choose from: a five mile walk and a new Toddler Trail commencing at 10.30am and a more challenging, 11 mile walk, starting a little earlier at 9.30am.

Christian Weikert-Picker, Fundraiser at LOROS said, “Bring the whole family and come and join LOROS on a sponsored walk. It really is a fun filled event, ideal for all the family. This year the toddlers will be able to take part in their own new trail which goes through the grounds of the Severn Trent Visitor Centre.”

Food will be available along with lively warm-up sessions, stalls, a children’s activity area and much more! Everyone participating will receive a goody bag and certificate on the day.

You can still register online at www.loros.co.uk/fundraising but hurry - your last chance to register is Saturday 13th September!

All money raised will ensure LOROS continues to provide care and support to terminally-ill patients and their families living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
