Girls tackle three-day cycling challenge

On Saturday 20th September, Megan, Karen and Vicki will be setting off from Bristol and cycling 260 miles to Paris in 3 days.

They will cycle 100 miles from Bristol to Portsmouth on Day 1, before getting the overnight ferry to Le Havre. From there, they will complete around 160 miles over 2 (surprisingly hilly) days to reach their final destination, Paris.

LOROS recently provided amazing support to someone very close to Megan's family, and the British Heart Foundation is funding Karen's PHD so they will be sharing the amount they raise between the two charities.

Karen said: "I had never cycled more than about 10 miles before I started training for this trip. The training is hard, really hard and takes a lot of time; it hurts too, but having a goal and knowing people out there are supporting us makes everything a little bit easier."

Please show them your support by donating at Virgin Money Giving

If you have already donated Karen, Megan and Vicki would like to say a huge thank you!
